Lifting up hands to help

The word charity means generosity in giving something to the needy out of love or kindness towards them; and a charitable organization is an institution with funds to help the needy. There is a well known proverb that ‘’Charity begins at home’’. The person who is kind at heart and possesses kindness compassion from his early days towards the weak and the needy people, generally loves to assist the poor. He finds joy and satisfaction in giving alms to a beggar, or renders some financial relief to the needy persons who are to the hand. Charity begins in the near neighborhoods of a person. One first comes forward to help his neighbors, relatives and friends in very beginning. Afterwards, he extends his, same helping hand to the distance places, where thousands of the needy and the weak people await his help and sympathy.
‘’No one has ever become poor by giving’’, India with millions of people live are divided in many sectors rich, poor, middle class and many people below poverty line. Poor people are in need of food, shelter and better other basic necessities so to help these kinds of persons there are many non-profit organizations. Which provide basic need of the people who are in need of food, money and shelter? NGOs in India is the backbone to the poverty which helps them to provide best of the services providing them home to live and other amenities. It is the noble quality in the ground of Indians, which brings welfare. NGOs inspire many humans and spread the joy of togetherness and brotherhood among the people.
Charity in Mumbai helps for donation and has built many charitable institutions in all over India and city for the benefit of common people. The dharamshalas or the guest-houses are built where pilgrims and travelers are accommodated temporarily free.  The schools, hospitals, and scholarships for needy & meritorious students are their generous contributions towards their countrymen. The practice of charity has always been initiated since from ancient times in India and Mumbai itself because it is one of the states where every kind of society lives and survives. The saints and sages lived on alms offered by the affluent people. It was since then an accepted practice to give whatever was possible in charity for the welfare of the people and the society.
NGOs in India really works, if they are sincere in their work. NGO plays a role like a bright light for the poor people. It is very much helpful for the betterment of needy and poor people. Where government can’t reach there this NGO builds empire to those who are poor. It also focuses on the uplifting the females providing them work from home, offering girls free education, contributing awareness in the rural areas where the financial conditions are very weak.
